Funny Maternity T-Shirt Ideas

As a future mom, you begin to sensitively notice the tummy is getting more and more obvious and all the skinny garments in your wardrobe are temporarily locked up. And now you are getting a little or maybe very bored with your lifeless maternity dresses. Then, you may wanna ask for some the funny maternity ideas?
Here is the right place you can find some great ones. Just believe that it will be very interesting and cool!

Now first rummage your wardrobe and find those old big t-shirts of yours which you feel bored to wear.

As it’s a home DIY job, you surely don’t need to buy fancy expensive new ones at the mall. The ideas I’m gonna talk about just work better with your used t-shirts at home instead of buying new ones. Just work on what you have in hand. Of course, if these old shirts are the simple plain ones, it’ll be just perfect.

Then, choose a general style you’d love to change of your shirts.
One clue is to choose a general material you want to apply to your shirts. As far as I know, there are many different crafts of t-shirt design. For example, heat transfer, hot-fix rhinestone motif, screen printing, etc. I, personally, will definitely choose the hot fix rhinestone designs, as I’m fond of bright shiny things. They can always cheer me up!

Now, you need to decide what content you want to put in the design. That is what you want to show to your family, friends, and the world. I have some suggestions that might spark your thoughts.

1. Quotes and Sayings
Some funny quotes and sayings can make your T-shirts look very humorous immediately. You can put up these quotes and sayings either in the front of your shirts or the back. Everyone who reads it will laugh.

These quotes should be from your perspective. But you can make it fun. For example, “Fragile, handle with care”, “Under Construction”, “F.B.I. - Funny Baby Inside” (Here, you can replace Funny with any other adjective of your choice), “I Can Grow People, what about you?” and “Baby on Board”.

These sayings are sure funny and will make everyone read them twice. You can have two of these sayings and put up one on either side.

2. Baby Says...
Or you can put up something you feel your baby wants to say to you, or to the world. You must have known what your baby likes or doesn’t like. You can design to put it up in a dialog box that points towards your tummy.

For example, if your baby doesn’t like fish, you can put up “Yes, I’m allergic to fish”. There are many other such dialogs and sayings you can put up: “I grow fast, don’t I?”, “Don’t Look @ Me”, “It’s been 7 months and I’m still here, who doesn’t need change?” and “Yes, I was the fastest of them all”.

Funny maternity T shirt ideas, aren’t they? As I said in the beginning, you can try designing these sentences or dialogs using iron on rhinestones. It will be so shiny and attractive.

3. Patterns
Buying or stitching your clothes in different, funny patterns is always fun. If you choose a pattern that has a sense of humor of its own, things get different.
If you like a dog, you can choose a dog iron on motif to hotfix it on your belly and iron on some green plants on your sleeves.

Ask your designer to stitch a gray shirt for you with elephant ears for sleeves. On your belly, you can have a trunk and tusks drawn. Above this, you can write, “I now resemble a baby elephant”.

You can also stitch a brown tee with a small pouch covering your belly. On the back you can write “Kangaroo” and in the front, you can write, “Can Pop out Anytime”. These will make your shirts look really hilarious.

By doing this, your wardrobe will be brand new. You can start trying your first DIY with your husband’s clothes. He will think it’s very cool, too. (I mean, even this first try doesn’t end well, he’ll still just smile at you with gentle touch to your tummy, saying you are the best!!)

Do you think to iron on some transfers are some interesting maternity T-shirt ideas? You can make your pregnancy unforgettable and happy. Don’t waste another second. Start to prepare the shiny bling hot-fix patterns right now!

T-Shirt Transfer - Design Your Own T-Shirt

As the mechanized production nowadays enriches the articles for our daily use, each product is one of thousands of copies. The batch production makes the products lower in prices, however, it makes them lack of uniqueness.

How long have you been expecting to open an unparalleled gift, or to have a special dish for your dinner, or to own a one-and-only long dress? Today, even a wedding can be batch-produced by a professional wedding planning company. What else can you think of that can not be copied?

But the fewer uncopible things there are, the more eager we want something unique and special. The uniqueness we cherish is not for being different, but for reserving the humanistic care within the products.

Right here right now, let’s try to escape the mechanized copied products surrounding us and make our own special ones. You may say it will be hard and complicated to take into action. Not at all! Just begin with your daily wearing T shirt—design your own T-shirt.

Thanks to the development of computer technology, a new technique called T-Shirt Transfer is so helpful and makes DIY T-shirt designing much easier now. This is a simple and fun job to do. With several repeats, you can train yourself into a T-shirt designing expert!

Preparation:
1. T- shirt in bold color like black or white: first we’d better do it in simple black and white, but we can move on to other colors when more practiced.
2. Transfer paper(easily available in an arts and craft store)
3. Scissors
4. An iron

Instruction and Steps:
Ok so now that you have all these things you are not ready to begin your process of designing your own T-Shirt. The steps are simple and quite easy to understand:
1.  Start by designing an image on the computer. You can do this by using any computer-generated images or download one from the Internet.
Copy and paste the desired image on a blank document and resize it according to the screen and remember to stay within the borders of the page.

2.  You can also add text in the document this has a better impact. Pictures and text make for a great image on the T-Shirt.

Choose the color of the font and image wisely keeping in mind the color of the T-Shirt.

3.  Grouping the picture and text together lets you move the picture into horizontal position for easy conversion into mirror image. Remember that it has to be a mirror image.

4.  Next you need to print the image in its mirrored form onto the transfer paper. Let the transfer paper dry completely.

5.  After drying, cut around the image leaving a quarter of an image border around the image.

6.  Heat the iron on the hottest setting and straighten out the area where you will be transferring the image. The best way to do this is to use the pillowcase, put it on the T-Shirt and iron on it to remove all wrinkles.

7.  Place the printed transfer sheet on the area where you want it to be printed. Iron on it for five minutes. Make sure you iron all over the image and not leave out the corners and edges. Use your strength and add weight and pressure to the iron.

8.  Remove the iron and let the T-Shirt cool off. Do not try to pull off the paper till it has completely cooled off.

9.  After ten minutes you can start peeling off the paper by pulling the paper with one hand and the T-Shirt from the other. And your T-Shirt is ready.

Still and like always, I’ll strongly suggest there be other choices to add transfers to your shirts, to find some bling iron on transfers online. Iron on transfers of this kind are more fashionable because they are made of shiny glitters, studs, rhinestones, etc, rather than just cloth or ink. The most popular bling iron ons are rhinestone motifs, which are most liked by young girls. And some online shops provide custom designing for free.

You can choose the perfect ones to match the style you like! These bling transfers are both pretty in fashion and cheap in cost. After you buy these transfers, you’ll only need to iron them onto your T-shirts now. Just use the above instruction and get hands more skilled!

You may not do the whole process perfectly, but try it on an old T-Shirt at first and practice. The ironing step can always take patience and practice. But repeating practice makes us perfect right? So keep on practicing and have fun!
